Enugu inaugurates c’ttee on MDGs

Enugu – The Enugu Government has inaugurated a committee, including local government chairmen, ministries, departments and agencies for the implementation of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in the state.

Gov. Sullivan Chime said that the inauguration in Enugu that the committee would also co-ordinate the State economic and Development Strategy (SEEDS).

He said its terms of reference include prudent management of grants, prompt release of funds fro project implementation and compliance with due process in the handling of grants.
